Before there was **Choreography, there was The Lilas - a band I formed with friends in Charlottesville back in 2003. We played a lot of songs that wound up on Choreography, but we played them quite a bit more raw and emo than they ended up on the album. We also made an EP and toured around a bit. "Something Better Than This" was on that EP but not on Choreography *- and "Fucked Up / Shut Down" was recorded live in New York by Craig Smith and never before released!***
